First Western Trust Appoints SVP, Portfolio Manager For LA Office

First Western Trust Bank has appointed Andrew Ewing as senior vice president and portfolio manager for its Los Angeles office. 

Ewing brings almost 40 years of investment management and private client advisory experience to the role. He joined the wealth planning team in October after serving five years as director in private banking for Credit Suisse in Los Angeles. Prior to that, he was a private client advisor for Bank of America and vice president of corporate banking for Union Bank. 

As portfolio manager, Ewing is responsible for managing clients' investment portfolios, in collaboration with the firm's wealth and fiduciary advisors and investment policy committee. First Western's services are integrated through a proprietary approach called WealthView 360, which focuses on a client's entire financial picture. 

The company is mainly focused on customers based in the Western US and offices in Arizona, California and Colorado.
